We invite walkers who wish to become regular members of the group to provide their e-mail address so that we can pass them details of the next months walking programme as it is formulated. More importantly we can also send details of any last minute changes or cancelations. Addresses are stored in a single location and are not passed to third parties or used for any other purpose than that associated with passing information about group walks.
Safety and Security
in addition to e-mail details we also invite members to provide the name and phone number of someone they would want to be informed should they suffer an accident in the course of the walk.
This information is held on a fact sheet carried by the walk leader and, like the e-mail data, is never shared with a third party or used for any but the intended purpose of notification .
