Programme Of Walks

Programming has been a little tricky this month because two of you have offered to do the Dosthill to Middleton Hall route (not one of mine) but aren't able to specify an exact date so the plan below will have some flex and we may need to swap dates around.

4 July 25  I'm going to take it that 4 July is a given and propose that we go back to Battram if you remember thats the village near ibstock off the B585, LE67 1GB .  You  drive through the village on to a forestry road and then there are car parks both sides of the track  The most direct route is Twycross, Congerstone, Barton in the beans, Nailsworth and then straight ahead on to the B585 turn left on to  no-through road into  Battram village. 11 July   Staying in that general area I thought we might do a walk around Thornton Reservoir on the 11 July LE67 1AN there is a car park and a garden centre near for tea if anyones interested.

18 /25 July  interchangable dates We could do Dosthill to Middelton or Staunton Harold on these dates depending on the availability of the two people willing to lead on the Dosthill Walk it will become clearer as the month progresses.

1 Aug  Canock Chase followed by a meal at the plum pudding. No map as yet I need to con Chas into doing a recce with me. I'll try to identify an unambiguous car park this time and will check out the roadworks situation nearer the date.
